€64.3 billion: EDF group sales in 2008.

The role of the statutory auditors is to inspect and approve the Group's financial statements. They are appointed for a period of six financial years.

Deloitte & Associés and KPMG SA were appointed as statutory auditors for EDF SA at the Ordinary Shareholders’ Meeting held on June 6, 2005.

BEAS and SCP Jean-Claude André were appointed alternate auditors.
