EDF is an official partner and the official electricity supplier of the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
During the Games, EDF will supply low carbon electricity to the Olympic Park.
As the official electricity supplier , EDF will contribute to the first sustainable Games by ensuring a low carbon electricity supply to the Olympic Park's sports venues and to the Athletes' Village.
EDF will also provide the energy for the Olympic Flame which will power the Olympic cauldron and the 8,000 torches during the Olympic Torch Relay.
Ahead of the London 2012 Games, EDF is supporting Team EDF - a group of 36 French, British, Hungarian and Polish athletes who are all preparing for the Games.
