Embodying the universal values of energy, team spirit and solidarity, rugby has a unique place in EDF’s sports partnerships.

By actively participating in promoting rugby in Europe, the EDF confirms the international dimension of its activities, represented primarily by its subsidiaries EDF Energy and Edison.Since 2009, we have worked towards strengthening our commitment within the European professional rugby elite by renewing our partnership with the European Rugby Cup (ERC) until 2012. EDF has thus become one of the major partners of the H Cup and the Amlin Cup.

For the 17^th Finals of the HCup, the ERC chose London and its emblematic stadium of Twickenham. This last European stage will therefore play out on British territory, with the sacred title currently held by The Irishmen of Leinster at stake.
