A group of committed athletes

Team EDFA group of Olympic and Paralympic champions!

Team EDF

Created in 2009, Team EDF has no fewer than 36 athletes from four countries representing the EDF Group in France and in Europe (UK, Hungary and Poland).

Diversity and performance are the two words that sum up TEAM EDF most accurately: this group of athletes includes sporting legends like Alain Bernard and Tony Estanguet, young champions like Camille Muffat and Yannick Agnel, and even employees of the Group, experts in their respective disciplines, like Emeric Martin and Sébastien Jouve.

These athletes excel in water sports (rowing, canoeing-kayaking and swimming) and in disabled sport, sports to which EDF is committed. At the London 2012 Olympics and Paralympics, the Team EDF athletes won a total of 31 medals including 12 golds.

With Team EDF, the Group is seeking to communicate values shared with the sports community, such as performance, team spirit and surpassing oneself. Each year, in addition to their personal objectives, the Team EDF athletes take part in events partnered by the Group to share with the public moments of friendly companionship and corporate citizenship messages.
