Stakeholder dialogue
As one of the world’s leading electricity companies, we actively support efforts to develop public policy in the area of energy, whether it be through benchmark studies, programs on sustainable development policy, combating social inequality, or the safe performance of our nuclear power plants.
Across the globe, the EDF group contributes to analysis and debates on sustainable development. Promoting more informed energy choices.
EDF is a member of the World Energy Council (WEC), the energy sector’s most representative organization at international level (with over 90 member countries). WEC research and recommendations cover every field of energy: coal, oil, natural gas, nuclear, hydropower, and renewables. EDF participates in comparative studies, and collaborates on programs to tackle social inequality and on the safety of nuclear power plants.
